An Amber weather warning was issued on the afternoon of Sunday 21st January 2024 due to impeding damage caused by the inbound Storm Isha.
2 teams of responders were quickly deployed by Lincolnshire Police to assist with fallen trees, with one team focussing on outlying villages of Lincoln, and a second team covering the south of the county including Bourne, Gosberton, Holbeach and more.
A total of 11 call outs were responded to across the county by our teams throughout the evening, with fallen trees made safe and roads cleared, ready for the local authority to take appropriate action the following day to dispose of the felled trees.
