Do you have an interest in learning lifesaving skills? Volunteering as a Community First Responder will give you the training and confidence to respond to urgent 999 medical callouts ahead of an ambulance and then support the crew as required.
Why we want you
The L-CAT CFR Scheme is expanding and looking for members of the Greater Lincolnshire public that are willing to volunteer to support the Ambulance Services and NHS Trust. In this role you will acquire lifesaving skills that will contribute greatly to our community.
What you will be doing
Responding to EMAS control requests for assistance.
Supporting casualties/patients whilst waiting for ambulance crew.
The skills you need
A sense of support and commitment within the community.
An open approach to the training required.
Discretion when dealing with vulnerable persons.
An average level of fitness to fulfil the role.
Full driving licence and available vehicle.
